Jonny James is an up and coming singer from the UK - his first single is called 'Behind That Door' and is out in August.

Ive heard afew of Jonny James' tracks now - and i think he should do well when he releases his material to the charts. think Frankmusik and Dan Black - its that kinda of genre - electro pop.

He is currently in the studio finishing off the follow up single - so keep an eye out for that in the next few months......

I went to London this weekend for the Soap Awards with Ms Hollie Jay Bowes and some of our friends.

The whole day / night was amazing. From getting Hollie ready for the carpet - Jennie did her makeup (www.twitter.com/pennie_crayon) - and then we got so very very drunk at the after party in Chloe.

I need to learn tho... do not drop your pants when the paparazzi are taking your photo.

I saw 30 Seconds To Mars in Manchester on Saturday night.

I have seen them before, i saw them play the liverpool student union - but this was something else. Jared Leto even said that it was their biggest headlining gig to date.

It was an amazing show - and the Leto himself even nearly broke my thumb as i helped him climb over some chairs.

Thanks for that Leto ;-)

I FINALLY saw Lady Gaga live. Ive only been waiting since 2008.

I went to the Monster Ball Tour in Manchester and Gaga did not disappoint.

Today i went to the filming of Hollyoaks new music show.

The performers were The Saturdays, Mr Hudson and Chipmunk.

The Saturdays were amazing. They sang Forever Is Over and new track Wordshaker.

I really wish i had filmed Mr Hudson - he was phenomenal. He only did White Lies - i was hoping for him to do some other songs...

Chipmunk was nothing special - he sang Oopsie Daisy and Chip Diddy Chip.

Going back tomorrow for some more filming with Tynchy Stryder, Paloma Faith, N Dubz, Paolo Nutini and Alphabeat.

I got the album 'Turn It Up' last night. It is a really good effort for a debut album. Can't stop listening to it.

I just got Miley Cyrus' new EP - The Time Of Our Lives.

The opening track is a cover of Ashlee Simpsons song 'Kicking And Screaming'. Ashlees version is better. It doesnt really go with the rest of the EP - which is nowhere near as 'rocky' as this song.

The EP on a whole is good solid EP. Her voice is BEAUTIFUL on 'When I Look At You'. Even though she has this whole cheesy persona - her music is actually very good. I stand by this. Just ignore the whole Hannah Montana side - and she is a very very good singer, and i think when shes afew years older, she is going to be respected as a talented song writer / singer.

I have just come accross the singer Karina Pasian. Her voice is so good. I watched the video of her covering Ave Maria by Beyoncé and its incredible.

Her first album came out August 2008 - which i am yet to listen to - but ive heard some of the new songs for her follow up album which is out later this year. And they are good. I need to get her first album 'First Love'.

I CANNOT get enough of this album at the moment.

The moment i heard 'Crying Blood' afew months back, i have been waiting for this album to get released.

Then i became obsessed with 'Shark In The Water' - and innaproprietly played it on repeat on the beach in the Dominican. Oops.

She is one of these people who are just effortlessly cool.

Her album 'Travelling Like The Light' is FINALLY out now - go get it. Wont disappoint you!

I Have Shontelligence - Do U?

I am back from the Caribbean... and i will be catching up with all the blogging ive lacked on today and the rest of this week....

My addiction whilst on the beach was Shontelles album Shontelligence.

It got better with every listen - and it was the perfect listen on the beach with some rum and coke and a nice gentle breeze.

Battle Cry which is the latest single is a strong contender on my 'most played' on my iTouch. She has recorded two videos for it - the one above is the promo video and the one below is the Obama video...

I recommend either getting the single or getting the album.... neither will disappoint. Get your ass onto Itunes now and get spending!

Dan Blacks album came out last week - but couldnt blog about it sooner as my laptop was in laptop heaven.

The album ((UN)) is amazing. Literally one of the best ive bought this year.

Pump My Pumps is one of the tracks on the album and it is one of the best party songs ive heard in a long time! The louder it is, the better it gets.

Now he just needs to do some more gigs up North so i can finally catch this cool kid live...!!

It has all three singles on it, Yours, Alone, and Symphonies.

Now go to the shops / itunes and get it. You wont regret it.

Beverley Knight is just about to release her new album. It will be her SEVENTH album including one Best Of...

For the American readers of the blog - you really need to research into her back catalogue. Her vocals are incredible - i cant think of one UK artist that can beat her on that.

This video proves just how incredible her voice is. Her duet with Lionel Richie doing Endless Love.

I actually cant wait for the album because this means she will tour. I went to see her on the 'Music City Soul Tour' - and to be honest i was by mistake as my friend couldnt go so had her ticket. But it has to be one of the best shows ive ever seen. The mixture of people in the crowd was so bizzare. but in a good way. Young people. Old people. Black. White. Str8. Gay. Literally every type of person which ive never really seen before at a concert. And everyone were on their feet from start to end.
Brill show in Liverpool that was!

My favourite Bev song has to be No Mans Land. It is out of this world amazing. And im so close to getting her to agreeing to perform it in my living room. She said i have to have soya milk and shes there. I told her my cats can be the backing singer. Ha ha.

I will post her new material / videos when they get released. But be warned. Once you Bev, you never go back.

Ok so i went into this film with little expectations. I really dislike Jack Black - but i LOVE LOVE LOVE Michael Cera.

This film is brilliant. Its not quite as good as Rolemodels - but i will def be getting the DVD when it comes out.

AND>>>> Paul Rudd and Mclovin have cameos in the film. Little suprises which made the movie that little bit better...

Michael Cera is as funny in this as he is in Superbad.
